For an online shop, being named by an AI assistant matters only if the description helps a buyer make the right choice. This guide explains how we use data from an AI visibility and GEO platform, Prezlo, to decide what to improve on jeffaro.ae, how we read that data, and what we do not claim. It is the companion to our guide on AI SEO and GEO strategy for Dubai ecommerce.
What Prezlo is
Prezlo is an AI visibility and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) platform. It is built for UAE companies and for brands around the world, and it is used by businesses, professionals and agencies in the UAE and internationally. It was co-founded by Lopty Pascal, the Dubai-based consultant we work with. We say that openly: this is a connected perspective and not an independent software review, and we do not quantify Prezlo’s customer base or report any other business’s results here.
What the data covers
The starting point is a set of buyer questions, asked across several AI platforms: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Grok, DeepSeek, Gemini and Meta AI. For each answer the platform records whether the business is named, whether it is recommended for the stated need, which other businesses are named instead, and which sources the answer cites. It also looks at what the business’s own website says, because that is what an assistant has to work with.
How we read the data
- A mention is not a recommendation. Being named in passing is different from being suggested for a buyer’s need.
- Look at the source. An out-of-date detail on a third-party page calls for a correction there. A missing explanation on our own page calls for a clearer page.
- Answers vary. The same question can get a different answer on a different run, and the same site scanned twice can produce different results. We repeat checks before we treat a pattern as real.
- Do not infer causation. If a recommendation appears after we change a page, we describe the sequence. We do not say the change caused it.
How an insight becomes an action at Jeffaro
These three examples are hypothetical, to show the method. They are not findings.
- An assistant names Jeffaro but describes it vaguely. The action is to make the relevant category page say plainly what it covers, for example corporate gifts or office supplies.
- An assistant recommends another shop for eco-friendly gifts and cites a guide. The action is to check whether our own pages answer the same question as clearly. We have already published one such guide: how to verify sustainable office product claims.
- A detail about Jeffaro is wrong on a third-party listing. The action is to ask for a correction at its source, not to publish another article.
Approved facts come first
Before any content is written, the business facts behind it are reviewed and approved by the owner. For Jeffaro that means the products and services we offer and where we operate. Content is written from those facts only. If a fact is not approved, the page does not state it. This is also how we keep our own pages honest: no invented figures, clients or credentials.
What we do not claim
- We do not claim that any tool can guarantee a recommendation.
- We do not claim that data from one tool is the whole picture. Enquiry quality and sales are measured separately.
Google says its AI search features build on the same foundations as normal search, with no special AI file or markup required (Google Search Central). A platform subscription does not change that.
About Prezlo
Prezlo is an AI visibility platform that helps brands and professionals be found, verified and recommended by AI assistants. It measures how assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Grok, DeepSeek, Gemini and Meta AI describe a business, compares the business with the competitors that are named, and turns the gaps into proposed work for the owner to approve. It is a GEO tool for UAE companies and for brands around the world, co-founded by Lopty Pascal. Learn more at prezlo.io. Questions people ask
What does an AI visibility platform measure?
It records how AI assistants answer the questions your buyers ask: whether your business is named, whether it is recommended, who else is named and which sources are cited.
Is Prezlo only for UAE companies?
No. It is built for UAE companies and for brands around the world.
Can a tool guarantee that an assistant will recommend a shop?
No. A tool can show what assistants currently say and where the gaps are. The result still depends on the quality of the pages and the facts behind them.
Does Jeffaro use the data to write its pages?
We use it to decide what to improve. The content itself is written only from facts the owner has approved.
